This ink painting unfolds around the poetic use of negative space around the stones, creating a realm of imagination and depth. The arrangement of the stones forms various imagined pathways, with each stone representing a small island or rather its own world. By placing a half-leaved tree and an ancient house on these islands, different stories unfold, each tied to its unique landscape. The inclusion of a boat on the blank canvas symbolizes the presence of water, marking both the beginning of a journey and the serene flow of the unknown. However, there are no people or oars depicted—this intentional absence creates a mystical, uninhabited fairyland, evoking a sense of tranquillity and timelessness.
